At The Beauty Bin, we believe shopping for skincare, haircare, and beauty should be exciting, not stressful. Every skin is different, every hair type unique, and sometimes a product just isn't the right fit. That's okay. Our return policy is built around your real experience with beauty products, not just the box they came in.

Whether you had an unexpected reaction, a product didn't deliver the results you hoped for, or your order simply arrived damaged, we've got you covered.

1. What Can Be Returned

1a. Eligible Products

The following products are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery:

  • Skincare (serums, moisturizers, cleansers, toners, treatments, masks)
  • Haircare (shampoos, conditioners, treatments, styling products)
  • Body care (lotions, scrubs, oils, SPF)
  • Makeup (foundations, lip products, eye products, blushes)
  • Tools and accessories (brushes, applicators, devices), unused only

Products may be opened and gently tried. "Gently used" means the product has been tested a reasonable number of times and at least 70% of the product remains.

1b. Non-Eligible Products

  • Products with less than 70% remaining (except as noted for allergic reactions and no-results returns in Sections 3 and 4)
  • Prescription or Rx-grade skincare products
  • Single-use items (sheet masks, eye patches, single-use applicators)
  • Fragrance, unless defective or unopened
  • Items marked "Final Sale" or purchased during clearance events
  • Gift cards and e-vouchers
  • Items returned without original order confirmation or account lookup

2. Standard Returns, Product Not Right for You

Requirements

  • Return initiated within 30 days of delivery date
  • Product is at least 70% full (gently tried, not heavily used)
  • Original packaging preferred but not required
  • Proof of purchase required (order number or email confirmation)

Refund Options

  • Refund to original payment method (5–7 business days)
  • Store credit (processed within 24 hours)
  • Exchange for a different product of equal or lesser value

3. Allergic Reactions & Adverse Reactions

Your health and safety come first. If a product causes an allergic reaction, skin irritation, or any adverse response, you are entitled to a full refund, regardless of how much product was used.

You do not need a doctor's note. Photo documentation is sufficient.

4. No Visible Results

Skincare, No Results

  • Must have used product consistently for at least 2 weeks
  • Return initiated within 30 days of delivery
  • Product must be at least 40% remaining
  • Refund issued as store credit or exchange

Haircare, No Results

  • Must have used product at least 3–5 times
  • Return initiated within 30 days of delivery
  • Product must be at least 40% remaining
  • Refund issued as store credit or exchange

5. Damaged, Defective or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right at no cost to you. Please report within 48 hours with photos of the item and packaging.

  • Free replacement shipped within 1–2 business days
  • Full refund to original payment method if replacement not preferred
  • Free return label provided, no need to ship back items under $25
